Welcome to Wittering Families Centre

Wittering Families Centre supports children and families from both military and civilian communities living in Wittering and the surrounding areas. We offer a warm, welcoming, and accessible environment for all families with children from birth to five years old, as well as those with children of primary school age.

Our Mission

Our purpose is to provide support, advice, and information to parents and carers. We aim to meet the needs of children and families by working closely with:

• Parents and carers

• Children

• Wittering Primary School

• RAF Wittering Community Support

• SSAFA

• Health visitors

• Family Hubs 

• Other local community partners

What We Offer

We provide high-quality and inclusive services for children aged 0–5. All of our sessions are free of charge and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Our current timetable includes a variety of sessions such as:

• Special Needs Support Group

• Stay & Play

• Bumps to Babies

• Sensory Play

• Baby Yoga

• Baby Massage

• Sessions with Childcare Providers

• Community Catch-Up

• Wittering Whizzkids

• Triple P Discussion Groups

• PEEP Learning Together

Family Support

Our Family Support Workers also provide in-school support, including:

• Time to Talk

• Wellbeing Club

We work in partnership with the Early Help Team to deliver additional family support services.

Please note: The Families Centre does not provide childcare, or breakfast and after-school clubs.
