Dear Parents

Thanks to all who returned the lunchtime questionnaire there were 123 replies of which 104 were willing to support school meals if the price was reduced. Of the 104 only 27 were current packed lunch children and that means reducing the price to increase take up isn't viable. So subject to governors approval costs will be raised to £2.25 and £2.30 from the start of next term and prices will have to be reviewed termly. I have put the full results on the school website and we will be organising a taster evening at the start of next term.

Tue 23 March   Friends' Easter Bingo 18.30
Fri 26 March   Term ends. School closes for the Easter holiday
Tue 13 April   Start of the Summer Term

Standard Assessment Tasks/Tests. If your child is in Year 2 or Year 6 it is important that they are in school for the S.A.T. practice week. If you would like to know more about the S.A.T. process please come and see me.

World Book Day Thursday 4^th March   The children will be given a voucher towards the cost of buying a book that can be redeemed at participating bookshops (sadly not the school bookshop).

Parent Consultations 8^th -11^th March late night Wednesday. There are no after school clubs this week except for Drama and the Yr 2/3 Multisports.

Friends' Easter Bingo Tuesday 23^rd March at 18.30 all prizes will have an Easter mostly chocolate theme all adults and children welcome.

Sadly Mrs Joyner is retiring at the end of this term. We will miss her and wish her all the best for the future. Mrs Blake starts her maternity leave at the same time but she assures me she is coming back!
